Reiki & Heightened Gifts

This is a very important subject to bring up: the heightening of spiritual gifts or the birth of gifts.

When I first got initiated or experienced my Reiki attunements, our teacher was very clear about spiritual gifts and how Reiki will either cause them to become a reality or amplify the gifts the students may already have. For me, it was the latter.

Unfortunately, though, for myself, I was kind of usurped before I could even notice that the gifts I already possessed were amplified. I say this because, around the time my mother was ill and dying, I had a spiritual awakening. I am not sure if it was something that activated because of the trauma endured from the experience of caring for and then losing my mother, or if it was something given to me. What I do know is that at around the same time, I received an entity attachment, and I thought that whatever gifts I already had were silenced because of the chaos and trauma I was going through. Everything happened at the same time. Which was clever to be honest. If anything was going to attach itself to a grieving or distraught person, that would have been the absolute perfect timing for it. I was oblivious.

When the entity attachment was removed, I realized that I was blocked for a long time, and because of that, there was no obvious notice of whether or not my gifts had advanced or not. However, now I am fully aware of it. Since the removal of the attachment, my gifts have been unreal. I have now begun having visions, and my "Knowing" capability that my mother always called "The Voice of God" amplified 100%. I have not been documenting it, but I have been paying attention. Lately, knowing when things are going to happen before they happen is commonplace. My readings have been spot on. The Reiki flow that I thought had gone away has returned with full intensity and has been super effective.

So knowing that my situation may be an exception and not a common one, I would say my teacher was 100% correct. Reiki will amplify whatever "Gifts" you may already possess, and I am sure that it can also create a gift when one may not have already been there.

For individuals who do not identify as people who possess any type of spiritual gifts, try to set up a support group or make sure your closest friends whom you trust are available to you should something take place and you require emotional support. This way you can process your experiences as they happen, if they do, and you do not spiral out of control emotionally or greatly impacted by fear. The idea is to have these experiences, and though rattled or afraid, you still go on with renewed strength; you do not give up. This is coming from someone who spent many years afraid of her experiences as they occurred, yet did not have the luxury of allowing failure, so I know it can be done. This path is not an easy one, especially if you were born into it or with spiritual gifts that many people do not understand.
